I've been living with CH for a year now and still trying out new meds and trying to figure this whole thing out. Imitrex, Maxalt didnt' work so I take Vicadin when i get a CH and after 20-30 minutes it does seem to abort about 75% of the time. There are even times when I've taken the pain killer early enough that i suffer very little from the CH. Although how can we ever tell what would have happened had we not taken the pill...I don't get a rebound CH, but your post makes me thing that this could develop over time. i also only get one or two a day now usually about 5 days a week. i'm wondering if this will increase with narcotic use or just as i age. I am getting an O2 tank this week and hope that will end my night time need for Pain Killers.

I just switched from lithium to verapamil, and hope that works better. lithium didn't do much and made me feel really mellow all the time. too mellow.
