my experience when taken for excruiating pain, even 60 Minutes had a program to this effect with cancer patients. Rebound clusters with narcotic prescription drugs, for me? Hell yes, CH would come in like clockwork, pop another demerol or codiene, wait 45 minutes for it to work, be pain free for maybe an hour, slowly creep back into a very severe CH wait for the next 4 hour pill pop time about a two hour period, than repeat the same cycle again for well over a year, what a wasted year, hit another neuro by accident, he had a fit, was going to put me in drug rehab if necessary, started me on O2 and after another month of hell, not the addiction, but wearing off the rebound effects, the CH dailey cycle finally eased and I learned I was eposodic rather than chronic, course now I am an O2 junky when needed, but managed to stay off my concentrator going on 48 hours.

Even after my accident six years ago, I refused to go back on narcotics and my body was racked up bad, I never want to get into that CH/narcotic cycle again, about 6 hours of being pain free a day, the other 18 hours was pure hell. Just my experience. Hasn't been a drug listed on this site that I haven't taken or tried, in my experience, they are all crap and more damaging than good.
