the little flapper valves apparently didn't read the instructions, and rarely open & shut fully
at the right time
BUT - if you understand what the functional goal is, you can compensate
I end up working the valves with my fingers to get the bag full of pure o2
when it is, I exhale, hold the mask to my face inhale the bag contents,
hold that in my lungs while the bag refills & repeat
have to pay attention, but it works, and saves a lot on wasted oxygen
