have also migraine since about 30 years, worsening since 80's, but at least some pain-free days between. Since 96 with neurological problems, surgery in 99 for spinal stenosis, fusion of 3 vertebrae in the neck. Although great improvement with lameness in limbs, worse for headaches since summer 2000, cluster at night, early morning and evening, usually for hours, and a few very brief ones inbetween. There is the odd painfree day, max. 7 per month. After surgery every doctor now claims my problem comes from the neck, the orthopedic surgeon however claims it cant be, it looks too good. I also think my neck is terrific, yet the head pain got worse. There is also an artery that runs within the spine "arteria vertebralis" which was compressed before and may have caused the headaches before - something doctors never think about.
Better luck to you and everyone else!
