thanks cranpain and Todd. Keiths headach "this word dosent fit" is always on the right side extremely painful. He beats the back of his neck hard during an attack he also walks the floor until he is about to drop. I've watched him nearly brake his hand beating stuff because he says the pain in his hand somehow keeps him sane. He has every sympton of cluster headach. The neurologist curently has him on Imitrix nose spray and prendisone. The imitrex is working but he is going through it like wildfire and our insurance company will not pay to fill it unless it has been so many days from the last refill. I wish this was'nt ch's even a turmer can be cured, but I'm afraid it is. The first episode which lasted 6 years was the same pain and he was told back then it was ch's but when nothing helped we looked for other causes. His dentist said it was tmj pain and since his jaw was crooked we believed it was tmj as well, especially after they stopped after surgery. When they came back we imediately called the oral surgen who by xrays excluded tmj. His attacks come 5 or 6 sometimes 7 a day with a few days of none the only thing that gives me dought about the being ch's is he gets them at all times of the day, never know from day to day.
