I am a cluster headache suffer for 11 years. Anyways,
my last attack of them happened about a year ago after having my first
born son. I saw a doctor at that time and recieved the meds I neede
to get them under control. Well, as spring arrives so does the dreaded
cluster monster. I call to set up an appointment with
my doctor and today went to my appointment. Bringing onloy my 25 dollar
co-pay. I get there and the receptionist tells me, "We no longer accept
that HMO provider and I must be a cash pay client".Can you believe that crap.
That's like a emergency room telling a gun shot victim,
"I'm sorry we're closed"....So what to do now,no meds,no doctor.
I told them that common courtesy would have been to notify their patients.
I guess the search begins to find a new DR.
Sorry all i just had to get that fustration out!!!
