Glad to hear everything's cool, but concerned to hear that the beast is poking his snout out of the cave once more.

I know that Flash recommends waiting until you are POSITIVE that the cycle is beginning again before re-dosing, but in your case I am not sure I agree with him. His main fear on dosing too frequently is that over time the treatment will lose its effectiveness.

I can't say for sure that this theory is impossible, but I think it may be more effective to do a massive repeat dose at the first warning signals... sort of a pre-emptive strike to squash it flat before it ever gets a toehold. It is already reeling from the last dose... now is the time to put it down for the count.

This method (an initial dose, followed a few weeks later with a followup dose) may actually end up involving LESS total "experiences" in the long run... for example, you might end up doing two hits a couple of weeks apart every four months or so... total hits per year -- six. On the other hand, if you wait until you are getting daily headaches of level 7 or 8, then do a dose, wait until the 7s and 8s return, redose, etc... you might end up dosing every month. Total hits per year -- twelve.

I gotta admit that this is speculation on my part, but it FEELS right to me. It also adheres to the primary tenet of pain management theory: NEVER let the pain get a toehold... never let the "pain pathway" get established in the first place because it then becomes MUCH harder to break that pathway.

Your choice, of course, but I thought I'd run it by you. Delighted to hear that you've had so much painfree time already. Here's hoping you can keep the streak running.
