I have chronic 3-5 3 hour attacks daily. With narcotics I have 2-3 a week with control in 20 minutes. I have gone off the meds twice and have had very little to no withdrawal symptoms. For some the meds act different, I think due to the chemistry involved with an individuals clusters. MikeL
