I'm just starting this ride for the first time - I can't imagine going that long without CH and getting it back. This has been like a bad dream for me - i haven't had a pain free day in 6 months. I found a neurologist who prescribed propranolol, a mayo-inhibitor (prohibits mayonaise?) and I'm also taking percocet for really bad pain and darvocet for not quite as bad pain. I'm feeling like a junkie at times. Nothing hleps, but I'm not giving up.
I think doctors need to be better educated on the pain associated with CH - they need to understand that we aren't as concerned about getting addicted as we are about staying sane!
