I have had clusters for 15 years now. I used to have them every couple years and now they are every six months and they last for three months. Ergotamine and steroids worked at first and I am alergic to verapmil. Oxygen workes most of the time, but takes quite awile some nights, and I am so tired of getting up twice a night. Insurance won't cover my headaches anymore so I can't see a neurologist and my family Dr. doesn't have a clue. The pain isn't as severe now as in the beginning of this cluster. A month ago my four small children and a very supportive husband were the only thing keeping me around. I have read some very interesting things on this page and will try them all if I have to. Keep writing. This is a great page!
