won't do a damn thing about a cold. Colds are viruses and antibiotics are often given to patients for the cathartic effect. Antibiotics will sometimes prevent a cold from turning into something worse but a kid's immune system is usually pretty damn good. The older one gets, they will normally have fewer colds as we build an immunity for many of them.
