... yes, the "B+" strain is indeed a variety of Psilocybe cubensis... one that is popular with home cultivators.

How long did it take from receiving the "clusterhead kit" to harvesting your mushrooms? How many dry grams did you end up with from the first flush? Is it still producing? Did you encounter any difficulties with the procedure, or is it truly a "no-brainer" project? Did you take any spore prints in order to initiate future cultivation efforts?

I know that many who are following the various threads regarding this treatment are worried about the experience being unpleasant or overwhelming. Since the dose you and your friend took was TWO to THREE TIMES LARGER than what most would take, it was reassuring to read of your own experience:

"For those that think I was REALLY CRUISING yesterday, it wasn't really as bad/good as I may have made it sound. I did, however, enjoy it. I did not hallucinate any. I did see a stick crawl and some monkey grass breath, but I don't consider that hallucinating. I spent a considerable amount of my time on my friends patio just marveling at nature. As I posted yesterday, colors seemed more vivid, and I was more aware of my surroundings. Leaning over the rail, I seemed to notice every small movement in the grass and shrubs. Lizards, crickets, and critters like that. The experience lasted about 4 hours. I was able to drive home after about 3 1/2 hours with no problems. I'm just thankful there was some traffic. If I had been alone on the highway, I probably would have slowed to a crawl to enjoy the scenery."

If your experience was as mellow as you describe, those taking a more cautious dose should have nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the answers, and sorry for asking even more, but I do believe there are quite a few here who would like to hear from someone other than myself exactly how uncomplicated the cultivation process is.
