Hi Margi, I think you may have the mechanics of O2 reversed. The way it works is by increasing the concentration of O2 in the bloodstream thereby allowing the cells to carry the same amount of O2 to the body with a smaller footprint.
The net effect is constriction of the the small blood vessels relieveing the inflamation caused by the dialation. I was told that this constriction is a very small number .001" or less but that can be enough to satisfy an inflamed nerve and turn off the pain signal. But so far all of this is just a therory.
