I am an alum of this website. I have had about a 15 month break of these monsters and my cycle has returned.
I am also a Kaiser patient and have gotten referrals to Nuero's here in Atlanta. I have a 3 PM appt on Wednesday to see my "Angel of Mercy"
Now onto med's-
I take 80 Mg of Propanolol (Inderol) each day and it seems to help. It lowers my blood presure a number of points as a side benefit.
I also carry a nasal injector of Imitrex (Best stuff on the planet as far as I am concerned) at all times in the event the Beast decides to visit again.
Like twice in the past 3 days. My Nuero is a strong believer in Amerge- a 12 hour Imitrex like pill you can take. I will know more about that after
my appt tomorrow to see if she still prescribes it. I might be getting a Prednizone blast to knock this out of my head as well.
