Had my Nuero appt yesterday and once again spoke to the kindest woman in the world. She is a Nurse Practioner and she spent over 40 minutes with me discussing all aspects of these monsters.
I am on Propanolol 80 mg/day and now 80 mg of Prednisone for 6 days and tapering off for 4 days for a total of 10 altogether. I commented that I yawn when it is attacking. She was exctied
that someone told her about this as she just learned that L Dopa is released in a yawn (I am still not sure if that dilates or resticts the blood vessels in the head).

I still carry the Imitrex NS which works for me and may possibly be on Amerge after the Prednisone trip is over.
My Nurse practioner is my Angel of Mercy and I told her so. She was a flying niurse over in Kosovo when the flying doctors were over there taking care of refugees- so she realy is an Angel of Mercy!

When my time was over with her...... I gave her a hug to show how much I apprecited her time and concern and caring.
She IS an Angel!
