Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't L Dopa a man made drug that the human body cannot create on its own?
I just happened to watch the movie "Awakenings" again last week and L Dopa was the drug used to cause these short term awakenings.
I think it is now used for patients with Parkinsons Disease who have a low level of dopamine?
So, I am confused how we could release L Dopa from a yawn unless it had been purposely administered to us beforehand.
Am I missing something here?
