Just some thoughts:
I've noticed something happening on this board lately, and what I've seen doesn't make me very happy.
It seems that lately, people have been sniping at each other, complaining about each other, etc.
When I first signed on here, what I found was a great source of information and help from those that suffered from the same illness that I have. I no longer felt alone, there were others that suffer as I do.
The vast majority of you out there are sincere and helpfull. I've even recieved e-mail from some of you asking for my personnal advice in dealing with these CH's. I thank you for trusting me without knowing me, and I thank the rest of you for your information that helped me.
However, I've also noticed a lot of requests that deal with narcotic pain killers (Percodan, Percocet, Demeral, Morphine Sulfate, to name a few) where it seems that the person hasn't or won't try anything else. There also seems to be a lot of "yeah, I use illegal drugs, so what!" This make me, who is already a suspicious person, even more suspicious. Has our site been invaded by those that think they have found an easy way to get these types of drugs? What better way than to complain to a Dr. about something that can't be proven or seen on different tests.
I hope this is not the case. I hope that these requests are simply do to the ungodly pain that these CH bring. Just one more word on this; remember, these are dangerous drugs, great care needs to be taken in dealing with them.
As to the sniping - we have remarked in the past that if someone from the media would check out our site, maybe they would pay more attention to our problem.
Is this what we want them to see?
