Sorry to hear this. There is such a thing as a 'silent cluster attack'. The symptoms will appear, one pupil will dilate and stay that way for the length of what a normal attack would be, and then revert to normal. But there will have been no pain during that time. There was something published about this last summer.
But you say he is feeling eye pain though - maybe that's how a silent attack manifests in a child? How long is it lasting and how severe is the pain for him?
I remember you found success changing his diet and having him on the difulcan....has anything changed in that regard?
Just shooting out ideas here....I hate to think of a little guy going through this. Must be so hard on him AND on mom. :(
