Hello DebbieA,

It is true that I do not like drugs. And there are some very good reasons for that having to do with people in my past. However, I did not think about something. I hope that I have not offended anyone who is taking medications for their CH's because I really really hope that they help them. I also am taking a few different kinds of pills in order to try and make it through them. I guess I was just not thinking. Sigh.

Actually I wrote back because of this: I was talking to my father about wether he could do some kind of acupuncture thing for me and help me out with the CH's. He said something about a Hypothalamus point in the ear which might or might not be good for the CH's. Also that he knew of several points in the ear that definitely be beneficial for the other things which come with it. Tension, anxiety, so forth. He said that Melotonin might be a good thing (because of Serotonin fluctuations(Hypothalamus problems)...). He also suggested that I try using ice, either holding an ice cube or sticking my feet in a bucket of ice water or something. He said that this would make the body send more blood to the iced areas in order to try and warm them. Thus lessening the pressure in the head.

I just wanted to let you know that your advice was excellent and that I was going to try it pronto!

Peace and Love,

Michael B
