Rubbed hard, almost rubbed my hair off, and what happened...the pain moved to the top of my head. I tried thinking it away, like Charlie, and then a lot of the other suggestions. Next I'll probably sit in the refrigerator with ice on my head, drink hot coffee, and my feet in a tub of hot water. Damn, this verapamil hasn't started to work yet!
