Has anyone undergone an EEG during a CH attack? This morning, they're supposed to hook up 22 wires to my head for one half to an hour long.
The switch from Topamax to Litium seemed like it was going to work, but I'm back to attacks coming at least every two hours. So,I expect I'll get one during the test. I'm going to tell them to continue the testing even if I go full blown 10. Think I'll have to warn them though, might even have to strap me down.
Has anyone had these brain wave tests done? Have an attack during them?
Any idea just what they expect to find, or what it matters to me (or us)?
They said I needed to force myself to be sleep deprivated before the testing ... LOL ... ooooohhh, I'll have to work hard on that one! : )
Any info on EEG's?
