Mike, I'm not a puritan when it comes to pain control and do not hesitate to use narcs as a last resort. (Don't anybody lecture me. I'm usually a nice person, but.....) However, pain killers do have a tendency to make me puke. That may not be your problem, but thought I'd throw out the possibility anyhow.
