It doesn't work as an abortive for me - too slow to act. As a preventive, it might work, but it seems like you'd have to stay pretty well doped up all the time, and I reckon that if you did that, impotence might ultimately be the least of your worries. I'm wondering if something like Fiorinal or Fioricet (without codeine) might do just as well for you. It might affect sexual performance a bit but would be more innocuous than Vicodin.
