Many people here use oxygen (breathed through a non-rebreather mask) to abort cluster headaches. For many, it is at least as effective as Imitrex... and a hell of a lot cheaper , especially with no insurance.
If you need something to help prevent them from happening, verapamil works well for many of us, and is also inexpensive.
And then there's the Shrooms treatment. I haven't tried it, so I can't say one way or the other.
