Seperating Vicodin from Tylenol

I am new here and need help. I live in a small town and my Doc is not up to date on new meds and will only give me vicodin es. It is very difficult to go to a larger city to find another doc especially with my insurance only accepting docs that they approve. It works to a degree and I am trying O2. My concern is liver damage due to the tylenol. If anyone knows how to speperate the vicodin from tylenol please let me know.
