I have taken my first Imitrex ever this morning (a 50mg tablet, not a shot) and I can tell you that it had no effect on the beast whatsoever, but I did feel some slight side-effects (still feel some actually) ; slight chest oppression, mildly upset stomach, wooly legs.
I must say that I didn't like the chest thing at all! Sort of scary.
This does not make me feel very optimistic for the future! I don't think I 'll try the 100mg tablet my doc gave me, whatever the pain!
