My standard operating procedure for ANY attachment I receive from anybody is to delete it immediately. Even files from people I know I delete, because I've had to clean viruses from my friend's computers before :) The only person I accept file attachments from is my father because he emails me from his work (which the the FAA) and they have some very secure systems with very competent people watching them. Even that's not a sure thing though. Get the wrong virus and you could lose all the data on your computer, and possibly even your computer itself. Fact of internet life unfortunately.
