Many people here have done just that, upped the dose by one tablet. The dosage seems a bit low if that one bad one keeps escaping.
Asking your doctor is of course the best way.
I agree with Jayne, have you tried Oxygen? It is one of the recommended abortives and is not really "medication".
You might even get through with your current dose of Vera and use oxygen to catch that big one.
The coffee is also a good trick.
Check the info under the buttons left. Oh, and I agree with the others, the nerve blocks I heard about did not work, or just for a very short time, and the procedure hurt like H.
