The oft-cited "clique" thought to exist here and in chat actually has nothing to do with chmb and chat. The clique is a behind the scenes email deal, populated primarily by people who have left the board and chat and created their own elitist underground, which they use to take cheap pot shots at those people who hang around and try to contribute.
There are those who straddle the fence and live in both worlds, but it is likely their loyalties lie with the underground, for it is far easier to express an opinion in the safety of a group that dares not disagree with a fellow member.
ch.com was never meant to be about popularity contests. It wasn't meant to be about who gets the most replies to a post or who hurts the most or who has the worst or best life.
It was meant to be a place where people who suffer from ch and those who love, care and support them could talk about the problems, concerns and treatments for ch.
jonny may not always be the most tactful guy on the board and he may be a bit quick on the trigger at times, but he's also pretty fast to apologize when he fucks up. And I've never known him to talk about people behind their backs....he says what he thinks right out in the open for all to see.
Guess I'm trying to say pretty much the same thing Paco said up the board. If people want a prayer group, they should go look for one. If they want www.lets all be positive.com, that's where they should go. If they want to discuss CH, they should be here. If they can't take the heat of opinions that disagree with theirs, they should keep quiet.
jonny, lest any of this go to your head, I still think you're a dumbass, and I'm shattered that you let den kick your butt, but I got your back, bro. ;-)
