It's the funniest thing, but Maxalt does absolutely nothing for me... I mean NOTHING!
I can't figure it out. Imitrex pills work, Zomig pills work, Imitrex injectors work, even Imitrex nasal works a bit...
But Maxalt does nothing. Zip. Nada. I might as well be sucking on a breath mint. I tried two different packs of 6 of those wafers, just in case there was something wrong with the first pack. No results whatsoever, and the delay in waiting for it to work meant that I was up to a 9 or a 10 before I gave up and took an Imitrex or Zomig, and had to wait forever for those to kick in.
I was very bummed and kinda confused. Not only that, but I was also out a considerable amount of cash!
I had thought that the triptan class of drugs were all similar enough that if one worked for me, the others would, too. I still haven't tried Amerge. Maybe that won't work either.
