CPH is very similar to CH. However, it strikes women more frequently than it does men. Indocin is 100% effective in treating CPH. Sometimes it helps CH too. It's an NSAID like Aleve but a very strong NSAID. If you're a female who thinks you have CH, I think it's absolutley nuts not to try Indocin as your first medication and rule out the CPH diagnosis first.
My personal opinion here, I'll bet upwards of 50% of the female 'clusterheads' here really have CPH and are missing the boat in treating them. Give it a try. You've got nothing to loose and everything to gain.
