So with all the talk about sleep apnea triggering CH, I wrote to the guy who did the study. I wanted to know if they had done any furter clinical studies to determine if it really is a trigger. Here is his response:

Sorry to say, I do not know of additional studies yet on this important issue.
Cluster headache probably has multiple triggering factors, so it would not surprise me if many patients have triggers that are more important - even if not yet identified - than sleep apnea.
