Personally I figure the sleep depravation is due to the headaches and then after a while it might reverse, I use to get them every time I laid down, sleeping 20-45 minutes then up for 1.5 to 2hrs recovering, the doing it agin and agin and agin until after about the 4th attack I would just stay up, usually around 3:30 to 4am. I could make about 4 to 5 hours before the next attack then it bacame the same viscious circle again. so I think it might start off as CH being the cause and the the sleep apnea actually reversing and becoming part of the problem!
