My husband Michael has had CH's for about 12 years and has been chronic for about 5 or 6 years now. He is trying Topamax now, but the side effects are hard to take. We read other messages from the archives awhile ago from here about some of you having too much trouble with the side effects, and some of you being able to tolerate it without any trouble.
I was wondering - those of you who take it - did the side effects (especially the feeling real spacey, tingling of feet and hands, and sleep problems) go away after a while? It has stopped the headaches - at 100mg 2 times a day - but the side effects are pretty intense. If he knew that the side effects would get easier, it would help. Any input from anyone out there?
