About a half a beer will give me a HA, so I gave quit drinking beer years ago. It just ain't worth the pain. So my question is WHY would you even THINK about drinking one and take a chance of having a HA knowing it will trigger one?
A diet coke works just fine for me or a glass of tea - even at the lake fishing. Yeah, I watch others swilling down the cold beer and remember back when I was right in there with them, but at my age I remember back when I did a lot of things.
Serious - it's just not worth the pain. Find something else to drink. You'll get used to it and after a while you won't miss it.
