I just thought i would share my experience with the Neurologist the other day with you!!! Warning!!! When i went to see her she tried to tell me that i do not suffer from clusters because imitrex injections should not work for cluster headaches! She proceded to give me and injection into the back of my head! And yes it did hurt like hell! She told me that the needle would give me relief from any headache for the rest of the day so i was kind of excited! well just my luck, half an hour later BANG! i got hit with the worst headache i have ever gotten! I figured ok maybe the stuff ut hasn't really kicked in or something, so i fought that one off after about 20 min, and 2 hours later BANG i got another one same pain intensity, i proceeded to have 5 attacks that night after seeing the Neuro. And today like clockwork i am getting them every two hours! very, very, severe! at least an 11 on the kip scale! and thats no lie. I just called the Neuro to give her a little piece of my mind, she is calling me back! i will let ya know what she has to say! Just wanted to warn everyone incase you go to a NEURO and they try ti give you that injection! BEWARE!!!
