I'm in between cycles with shadows and just started Verapamil for the first time today at 240mg and noticed a significant improvement within 6 hours. I asked the same thing about how long it takes to kick in when I met with the neuro today and he said within 24 hours.
I was near the end of my CH cycle when I started today, so that may have helped the Verapamil work quicker. Maybe like my allergies... its easier to prevent them from going wild than to get them under control once they start.
And YES, I'M ABLE TO DRINK BEER AGAIN !!!! AAAAaaaaahhhhhh, celebrating, 6 already and still going without much of a ping. Hope this stuff works for the long haul.
