hey marshall..sorry to hear of your situation..we have ALL had problems with doctors and their lack of understanding regarding our pain. however i agree with carl that using a preventative is far better than narcodicing them out attack by attack. Verapimil is a favorite here..no real side effects, and works pretty well...240mg seems to be a good dose and is taken every day..to break an existing cycle prednisone is effective although has many bad side effects (rage, mood swings, ect...) good luck!
