I have just been diagnosed with cluster headaches after suffering with them for two years. They have now put me on a ten month waiting list to see a neurologist and have given me a course of pizotifen which don't seem to help at all. I recently had a severe attack where I had 6 - 7 headaches a day over the course of three days. I went back to the doctors because I couldn't cope with the pain and I was having to take time off college and they said that there was nothing more they could do until I'd seen the neurologist. Is there anybody with any information about getting treated, maybe privately or anything I could do in the meantime to reduce the severity of the headaches.
