My neuro wanted to give me Neurontin about 3 years ago. It is a high maintenance drug, requiring you to take it about 4 times a day. There are lots of side effects as well. He told me he's had good luck with cluster patients. I decided not to put up with the hassle and stayed with Verapamil. Sorry I can't give any first hand experience. There are others on the board who have had success with it.
