This kind of thing really pisses me off, and I'd be more than happy to help you fight this. I've written several appeals to insurance companies before, and haven't lost yet. So, it is possible we can do the same for you. If you're interested, write me an e-mail. Try to give me as much info as possible (i.e.: Who is your carrier, do you carry it yourself or through work? HMO? What dosage did your doc recommend? etc.)
I'd bet we can get them to change their position, it's worth the try.
