as for the prevention, I take proparanol (inderal la) 80mg a day. for me, pain goes away after 2-3 weeks of this medicine.
for pain killer, I use imitrex 20mg nasal spray and works... sometimes lol... (but it sure is very expensive. about $25.00 each)
