Doc Goadsby is currently researching the hereditary link. He does believe there is one although he's not sure how strong a link it is. Other studies have shown an increased incidence of clusters in family lines.
I'm going on 51 years old. Each cluster gets a little farther apart. We do see 70-80 year old people here with clusters though. I think some do outgrow them and some don't.
