Outgrow CH?

The neuro told me yetserday most people outgrow their CH when they get a bit older than me (I'm 46). Has anyone on this site found this to be true or do they know someone that HAD them but doesn't anymore now that they're older? He also said that CH were very hereditary and asked if my father or brothers had them. I didn't think they were hereditary.... Thanks.
