This is the same way I lost my Dad, who was my best friend...it is called congestive heart failure...at the time I was not a nurse...He, also was in a coma, but the Docs made sure they also gave him medication to avoid any discomfort...as I am sure they are doing for your Granddad...I am so sorry you and your family are losing this great man...I know about the pain of losing someone you love...Be grateful you can be there for your him, your Grandmother and family...and never think of yourself as worthless for this you are not! I love you, Mike B....Now, go and make this a special time that you will always cherish...
