charles I know your frustration with the docs and family!!! Do you have to keep seeing this nero? I know there has to be someone who will help you. My brother works in Houston as a drug rep. He gave me the name of a neuro whos suppoed to be one of the best. Dont know if you can travel or if your folks would consider but C. Norman Shealy M.D. of Shealy Institute Springfield MO. was the name he gave me. I am going to find a doc that will work with me. I have decided I am worth a decent life and I will try to find a doc who at least has compassion!! Some people have had luck with pain clinics. I think they would at least be understanding to pain. You deserve a life with pleasure also. Tell your Doc exactly how desperate you feel and that there is no reason for you to suffer like this. Tell your Mom also.
