Verapamil has never really worked for however, this time I'm taking 360mg / day verap and two tabs of cafergot spaced out during the day. I'm not having any real headches. I do get a pretty funky feeling in my head/face/neck in the afternoon.
A couple of times in the past weeks I've tried to drop the dosage on the meds and have immediately started to get hit.
I guess the verap, along with my hardening old arteries is working some this time.
11 weeks on this cluster so far. 1 more week and I'm into virgin territory (12 weeks is my longest cluster ever).
Anyway, I think the verap and cafergot are preventing the h/a's for the very first time. Up until now I've never had a preventative work.
