we got ours from a local welding supply house - just look in your yellow pages.
We don't use a mask, actually - just the nozzle that came with the tanks (one oxygen, one acetylene - always careful not to mix them up!). That's a VERY risky way to go and you have to be careful - NOT the recommended delivery method! The reason we do it this way, is that we did originally purchase the tanks for welding purposes and, after we found ch.com in 1998, we read that inhaling oxygen might help Mike through a bad bout. I remember driving into our shop in the middle of one night to try it and, lo and behold - it WORKED! The tanks have resided in our garage ever since. We honestly have never tried to get a prescription for medicinal oxygen because this way works for us. But, as I said - this is probably the least safe way to use welders oxygen and you really SHOULD be using the proper mask. Jonny has the details on that and hopefully he will respond to this thread. Mike's not had to use the tanks for over two years now because of his remission.
