Hello Chris,
I've sailed in your boat, too. After years of episodes of clockwork regualrity, I "went chronic" for well over a year, two years ago. I thought then that well, that's it, there's my life, but in fact they did go away, and I've been pain free for almost two years, but with my usual trigger time fast approaching (early January). Am I scared? Definitely!
I fought through my year with a little (a lot, really) help from my friends here at CH.com, and with O2 and verapamil, and that's all. Are you on a high dose of verapamil, I wonder? Are you familiar with the success many folks have had with shrooms? It's impressive.
I write this only to tell you not to despair, and to emphasize what Dave so perfectly expressed in his message. There is hope, Chris, and as long as you have that you have a fighting chance. And absolutely: feel free to e-mail any of us and come to the board whenever you need to. It sure saved my sanity, and probably a lot more than that.
Good luck, and hang in there.
Ken
