Topamax didn't work for me. I was on 150mg/day for 5 weeks with no results.
Imitrex nasal worked in 10 minutes or so.
Maxalt also worked to abort the headache. It is the only triptan that gave me some chest discomfort. Of course I have a screwed up heart anyway so you probably won't even feel it. If you're going to use Maxalt, they make a melt on your tongue tab that works faster than the regular tablet.
